LaundryIt Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

LaundryIt may collect information you provide when you create an account, schedule or manage an order, apply to become a provider, contact customer service, participate in a referral program, or otherwise use our services. This may include your name, email address, mobile number, pickup and delivery addresses, service preferences, order details, photos submitted for pickup or delivery proof, referral information, and communications with LaundryIt.

2. Payment information

Payment-card entry and payment processing are handled by Stripe or another authorized payment processor. LaundryIt does not store full payment card numbers or security codes. We may retain payment references, transaction identifiers, masked card details, billing status, and related records needed to process payments, refunds, credits, subscriptions, and recurring services.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide and operate LaundryIt services, create and manage accounts and orders, assign providers, coordinate pickup and delivery, process payments, communicate about service activity, provide customer support, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain records, improve our services, comply with legal obligations, and protect LaundryIt, our users, and providers.

4. SMS and mobile information privacy

If you opt in to text messaging, LaundryIt may use your mobile number and SMS consent records to send account, order, provider-assignment, pickup, delivery, customer-service, payment, and post-delivery communications. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

Mobile information and SMS consent are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

5. Service providers and disclosures

LaundryIt may share information with service providers that perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing, communications delivery, hosting, security, analytics, background screening, and customer support. These providers may use information only as needed to perform services for LaundryIt. We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, property, and the integrity of our services.

6. Independent providers

Information necessary to complete an order may be made available to the independent provider assigned to that order, including customer name, pickup or delivery address, contact details, service instructions, and information reasonably necessary to perform the requested service. Providers are expected to use customer information only for authorized LaundryIt service activity.

7. Data retention

LaundryIt retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business and financial records, document consent and opt-out history, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and satisfy legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and LaundryIt cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices

You may update certain account information through LaundryIt or contact us for assistance. You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. Where applicable, you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to legal and record-retention requirements.

10. Children's privacy

LaundryIt services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the service.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes may be posted on this page, communicated through the service, or otherwise provided as required by law.
